Collaboration with Project Kesher
We have been collaborating with Project Kesher, an all-Ukrainian public women's Jewish organization, to get Comfort Kits to Ukrainian children. Project Kesher distributes the kits to those in need and provides guidance on using the kits for emotional first aid. We love the videos they’ve created for our Feel Better Skills!
Fundraising for Grief and Trauma Summer Camp in Ukraine
In spring 2024 we are raising money with our partner organization First Aid of the Soul to provide Comfort Kits to families who will attend a grief and trauma camp in Ukraine. With your help between 100 and 150 children and parents will be provided Comfort Kits to learn how to use mind-body practices to manage anxiety, pain, and other challenges associated with trauma. The camp will provide comprehensive programs for parents and families, with an emphasis on supporting emotional expression and regulation, building resilience and connection in community, fostering positive interactions between parent and child, and training Ukrainian counselors for sustainability and scalability. Please donate today!

On the anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine
We are saddened to recognize the one-year anniversary of the brutal and unprovoked Russian invasion of Ukraine. For the past year we have been working to raise funds to purchase materials for Comfort Kits, as well as assemble those kits, and work with generous individuals and organizations to get the kits to Poland and Ukraine and distributed to the children who need them.
To date we have sent over 1,000 kits to children affected by the war in Ukraine. We will continue to work to support these children with skills to help them cope with the trauma of war and displacement. Please consider making a donation today to help us continue our work.
